Hello Friends! We are currently in a very stuffed car driving from Boise, Idaho to Kent, Washington for our gig tomorrow. Looking forward to a nice dinner at a Cuban restaurant in Seattle that Mike has been raving about called Mohitos. Also been frantically looking at Fandango for tickets to the new Harry Potter movie, but alas, it is sold out tonight! Maybe later this month….

The first week of our month long tour kicked off in beautiful Snowbird, Utah, located in Little Cottonwood Canyon right outside Salt Lake City. Saw many of our good friends: Belleville, Greencards, Alison Brown, Jim Lauderdale and his crowd…. We had the distinct pleasure of having Alison come up and play Before I Go with us, something we have not done since the new CD came out! Thanks Alison! Spent July 10th celebrating Angela’s 26th birthday at famous Mexican restaurant, Red Iguana, eating all sorts of mole. Bearfoot’s highest recommendation for Mexican…

After picking up our rental car, and stuffing our Mexican stuffed bodies into it, we did a late night drive to Pocotello, Idaho. Woke up the next day and drove another four hours to beautiful Stanley, Idaho at the base of the Sawtooth Mountains. We played at the lovely Redfish Lake Lodge, hosted by Jeff and Audra and their wonderful staff. We met some new friends, Carrie Rodriguez and her band… VERY cool band,,, check them out! Monday brought us to our “Sunday”: yummy breakfast at The Bakery and a half day raft trip down the Upper Salmon, brought to us by The Raft Company. (Pics can be viewed in our Albums). Jason joined the Salmon River Swim Club!!!
....
After cleaning up from the river and a quick lunch, we said goodbye to our new friends, the Carrie Rodriguez Band, and headed to Ketchum, Idaho to pick with Fletcher Brock, the guy who built Jason’s mandolin. A couple hours later, we got back in the car to head to Boise to hang out with our new friends from Stanley and get a couple of winks in before the long trek to Seattle. That just about brings us up to the point of now….
....
Looking forward to California WorldFest and Rockygrass! Hopefully we’ll see some of you out there on the Road!!!
....
Peace,
Kate + Bearfoot
