FROM THE ROAD
The Humid Tour

Next stop: East Hartford CT. Podunk Bluegrass Festival. Mother Nature was trying out all the elements on us. But rain or shine the show must always go on. Del McCoury closed the show. The boys all stayed up till sunrise playing tunes together. Del is the man! Next morning we woke, packed the van for what seemed like the hundredth time, and drove to Rowayton, CT. We were set to play outside that day, but it rained and poured like the sky was weeping for the sun. We decided to play the show inside at the local school theatre instead. We had a wonderful show. The people of Rowayton are generous and full of love for everything good. We enjoyed a boat ride post-show out to an old lighthouse. Then a fine feast of seafood at a late night seaside restaurant. What a day!
Then it was on to Bethlehem PA for Muzik Fest. The festival pretty much takes over the entire town for ten days straight! All sorts of music from around the world is welcomed there. They even have a Polka tent! Fun shows. Very hot though. I was in heaven. The rest of the band, not so much.
And that brings us to now. This very minute we are heading out of PA journeying to Maine, where we will play a house show. Then to Pawling, NY, and finally...home....Just for a little while.
Hope to see some of you for the Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival coming up!
